Go-To Protein Yogurt Bowl For Happy Hormones
Remember when everyone on the internet was telling us to intermittent fast and not eat until noon? Yeahโฆ That didnโt work for me. I remember trying to do so, all while feeling insane when I would consume only coffee on an empty stomach. That experience also taught me just how important it is to listen to your own body and not take wellness advice as a one-size-fits-all approach.
Eating breakfast within the first 30ish minutes (or less) of the day has absolutely changed my health and the way I feel, but I donโt always wake up wanting a huge meal. Sometimes I want that larger four-egg breakfast, toast, smoothie combo, and am a huge believer in listening to your own personal hunger cues, but some days I just want something smaller.
This protein yogurt bowl has been a game changer for me because it is so yummy and easy to eat before a morning workout.
Protein Yogurt Bowl For Happy Hormones
Here is the exact recipe if you want to re-create. This reminds me so much of the โblueberry slumpโ I grew up eating during summers in Maine,
One scoop of my favorite Vanilla protein powder from Organifi. The code TAYLORLOVE will save you a little money at checkout. This is what makes this taste so delish, as it is one of the only protein powders that actually tastes like a dessert but has wonderful ingredients. Be careful of hidden, funky ingredients in protein powders!!
Then I use dairy-free vanilla yogurt from Siggiโs, Primally Elizabeth Granola, and frozen organic blueberries warmed up in the microwave – this sounds so simple, and yet itโs insanely yummy and gives you a little boost when you need it. If I donโt have this for a lighter breakfast, I will have it for a mid-afternoon snack when having a sweets craving. You can also drizzle some honey on the top, or bonus points if itโs Manuka Honey, which has wonderful anti-viral benefits! Another dairy-free yogurt brand I love is CocoJune.
Enjoy!
XX,
Taylor
