Baby Shower Basket Idea For Your Besties!
I recently put together a baby shower gift basket for one of my dear friends, and it was such a sweet experience building it for her and her little man. I wanted to share how you can create one for a friend who is expecting. I wanted this basket to feel cozy, thoughtful, and filled with things that I think she will need for her baby boy.
I added the Barefoot Dreams baby blanket that I have gifted to a few friends, and every single one has said it was a favorite, especially for the hospital. It feels so soft and comforting. I also included a pair of Barefoot Dreams socks for the baby. 🥹
I tried to focus on items that I know are essential but also a little extra special. I added Honest Company wipes that are known as “clean conscious wipes” that I know she will always need. I picked them up from Target + included a snack box and baby utensils.
I added a small teddy bear and a dinosaur squishy toy to bring the basket together. These add comfort and a sense of fun. I also included a baby book that she can keep and come back to over time.
I finished everything with blue ribbon and wrapping paper from Target. It pulled everything together and gave the basket a finished look. For a baby girl, you could switch to pink details and add bows or flowers for a girlie touch. The gift basket also doubles as storage, which makes it even more practical!
Putting this together for my friend and her sweet little man meant so much to me. A basket like this is not about how much you include. It’s about choosing items that feel thoughtful and supportive during such an important time. If you’re building one for your best friend, she’s going to love it.
