Florida Wellness Retreat: An Experience I Cannot Stop Thinking About
If you love wellness, beauty, or conversations around longevity, add this place to your list. You wouldn’t believe that it’s actually in Florida! It feels like you escaped to Italy.
We visited Amrit Ocean Resort and I had never experienced anything like it. The entire day felt immersive from the moment you walked in. This is the largest wellness center in Florida— over 100,000 square feet right on the ocean, built around five pillars of wellness. Every space feels intentional and designed to help your body slow down and reset.
The entire center focuses on nervous system regulation and detox support. You move through different wellness experiences at your own pace, which is great because nothing felt rushed or overwhelming. We were staying at the hotel & did the $50 guest pass for the day.
There are salt inhalation chambers, hot and cold plunge pools, arctic chill fountains, experiential showers, and hydro reflexology walking paths. Each room feels different, and you can feel the shift in your body as you move through the circuit.
The contrast therapy stood out immediately. Going from heat to cold wakes up your entire system in the best way. I left feeling clear, calm, and completely reset!!
One of the most memorable parts was the meditation pod. I genuinely cannot stop thinking about it. It created this deep sense of calm that stayed with me long after we left. I already know I’m going to think about that experience the next time I feel stressed.
The center also offers day passes, which gives you access to the wellness center and spa without needing to stay overnight. Honestly, the value surprised me considering how much is included!!
Everything about this wellness center felt thoughtful. The ocean views, the wellness spaces, the slower pace of the entire experience. I also think the workout classes were incredible- best Pilates class, ever. It felt like stepping out of everyday life for a few hours.
If you’re looking for a wellness experience that goes beyond a traditional spa day, this is absolutely worth experiencing.
