Fall Skincare Routine: My Glow-Boosting Staples for Cooler Weather

The second the air shifts in the fall, my skin lets me know. Things get drier, my moisturizer starts working overtime, and I have to be a little more intentional with what I’m using. My routine doesn’t change completely this time of year, but it does get a few strategic upgrades – extra hydration, barrier support, and products that keep my skin calm and balanced.

I’ve rounded up what I’m currently loving for fall: my favorite cleansers, hydrating layers, a red light mask that gives serious facial results from home, and a few skin-from-the-inside-out rituals that actually make a difference.

As someone who’s really been through it with acne and has very sensitive skin, every product in my routine has to earn its spot. I’m big on formulas that support my skin barrier, calm inflammation, and don’t overload my skin — especially this time of year. Also huge on graceful aging as I’ve entered into my early 30’s!

My Fall Skincare Routine for Glowing Skin

Step 1: Cleansing (Clean Skin = Happy Skin)

Fall tends to bring a little extra congestion with the change in weather, so I like to double cleanse to keep my skin balanced.

I always start with the Elemis Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm. It’s a forever and always in my lineup. It melts away sunscreen, makes, and impurities from the day while leaving my skin soft and hydrated. I follow up with PanOxyl Acne Foaming Wash. This is my ride-or-die cleanser when my skin starts acting up. It keeps breakouts at bay without stripping skin! I’ve been using it since I was 12, lol.

Step 2: SPF

I never, ever skip sunscreen, even on gray gall days. I love the Neova DNA Damage Control Silk Sheer SPF 40. It’s lightweight, gives the most gorgeous glow, and is packed with skin-loving ingredients that protect and nourish. Think of it as skincare and SPF in one step.

And right before SPF, I always apply my vitamin C — I don’t miss the Neova C Serum or a good vitamin C every single morning. It gives that extra antioxidant boost and helps keep my skin bright and protected throughout the day.

Step 3: At-Home Red Light Therapy

My Omnilux Contour Face Mask is my secret weapon for glass skin. I always pair it with their sheet mask and peptide serum – it gives you that post-facial, gentle-laser look without leaving your house. It’s honestly the closest thing I’ve found to professional results at home!

Step 4: Toners that Hug the Skin

Fall can make my skin feel tight and dehydrated, so hydrating toners are a must. I’m on a huge toner kick recently!!! My favorites:

I love applying them with my hands (no cotton pads!) for an extra moisture boost.

Step 5: Skin Flooding

If you’ve heard of skin flooding and wondered what the hype’s about, it’s a Korean beauty technique that layers lightweight hydrating products (like toner, essence, and serum) on damp skin. Each layer locks in moisture from the last, leaving your skin plump, hydrated, and glowing.

It’s a game-changer for dry or irritated skin, helping to restore the barrier and keep hydration sealed in all day. Pat each layer in gently, then finish with moisturizer or facial oil for that dewy, glass-skin finish.

Step 6: Masks & Serums

I typically mask about three times a week — it’s one of my favorite ways to reset my skin and keep it looking fresh. Masks and serums are my go-to for hydration, glow, and that healthy, plump feeling. My current favorites:

Clarins Double Serum – A classic serum. This serum is packed with antioxidant-rich plant extracts to help boost radiance, improve skin texture, and give your skin that healthy, hydrated bounce. It layers beautifully under moisturizer or oil, making it a perfect step for cooler weather when skin needs extra support.

Clarins Cryo-Flash Cream Mask – Think of this as a power nap for your skin. Inspired by cryotherapy, it instantly refreshes and energizes a tired complexion, helping to depuff, tighten, and give that post-facial glow in just 10 minutes. Great for using before an event or when your skin just needs a pick-me-up.

Peach & Lily Glass Skin Ginseng Collagen Mask – This one’s all about hydration and glow. It’s infused with ginseng and collagen-boosting ingredients that plump and smooth, leaving your skin looking dewy and luminous. It’s gentle, effective, and one of my go-tos when my skin needs a reset.

Medicube Salmon PDRN Pink Collagen Jelly Gel Mask – This one feels like one big drink of water for your skin. It’s loaded with collagen-boosting ingredients and soothing PDRN, which help plump, calm, and brighten. I love using it when my skin needs an extra hydration push or after a long travel day.

Then I do a really special blend of our own powerhouse serum that’s in the works (working on it for LOVEÉ Beauty) followed by face taping.

Step 7: Face Taping

This is where it gets fun! I’ve been face taping as a Botox alternative for about six years — long before it became a TikTok trend. The OG girls know!!

I’m currently testing our own prototypes for LOVEÉ Beauty (!!!), and once they’re ready, you better believe I’ll finally have a tape I can fully recommend to my girls. I promise it won’t include traveling around with a huge roll of tape, scissors, & all the tools.

If you’ve been curious about face taping or want a Botox extender trick, this might just be your new best friend. Stay tuned.

Skincare from the Inside Out

Good skin doesn’t stop at what you put on it — what you feet it matters, too. A few daily must-haves:

  • ARMRA Colostrum – game changing for skin and immune health.
  • Glutathione + Liposomal Vitamin C – a must for bright, resilient skin.
  • My daily green juice – honestly, I treat it like drinking my vitamins. It’s a ritual I swear by for both skin and wellness.

I’ve also been using my infrared sauna regularly, and it’s made such a difference in how my skin looks and feels. It’s one of my favorite ways to detox, boost circulation, and get that post-sauna glow. Plus, the heat helps my skincare sink in better afterward. It also cuts down your rate of disease by 40% which is so important. You know I believe in holistic beauty so much.

Fall skincare is about supporting your skin through seasonal change — keeping it hydrated, protected, and happy. Whether it’s a luxe cleansing balm, red light therapy, or a green juice in hand, little rituals make a big difference.

And yes… keep your eyes peeled for LOVEÉ Beauty’s approaching launch. The glow-up is only getting started!

LOVEÉ Beauty coming in 2026… 🤍
