Easy Glowy Spring Makeup Routine: My Light & Fresh Beauty Look
Now that spring is finally here, I always find myself reaching for makeup that feels lighter, glowier, and just a little more effortless! 💐 There’s something about this time of year that makes everything feel fresh again and I start gravitating toward products that let my skin breathe while still giving that soft, polished look. Think glowy skin, a little blush, glossy lips, and makeup that simply enhances what’s already there. The kind of routine that feels easy, uplifting, and perfect for spring days.
I wanted to share my easy glowy spring makeup routine with you, also a few skincare steps that make the biggest difference before makeup even goes on.
Lately I’ve been especially reaching for the IT Cosmetics Full Coverage CC Cream, and it’s one of those products that just makes your skin look so even and radiant without feeling heavy. For eyes, I’ve been loving a warm nude eyeshadow palette, which has been perfect for creating soft looks that feel really natural for spring. I love warm tones that enhance your features in the prettiest way without ever feeling overdone. Then this Caudalie beauty elixir has been such a nice finishing touch. I love using it to prep my skin before makeup or as a final mist to bring everything together. It gives the skin that soft, dewy glowy look and just makes everything feel a little more refreshed and alive.
Skincare Favorites
I always feel like the best makeup starts with really good skincare, so these are a few products I keep coming back to that make my skin feel healthy, hydrated, and glowy.
One thing I’ve been starting with lately, and I’m honestly so excited about, is our LOVÉE Beauty sample. It’s become such a nice first step because it helps plump and hydrate the skin right away, which makes everything you apply after look so much smoother and more radiant. It’s one of those little steps that makes a bigger difference than you expect. Your skin just feels more prepped, more hydrated, and ready for makeup.
Another product I’ve been loving lately is the Farmacy Honey Milk Hydrating Essence Toner. It’s so soothing and nourishing, and I love using it when my skin needs a little extra hydration. It’s perfect for “skin flooding” and just gives your skin that soft, replenished feeling.
The Farmacy Honey Halo Moisturizer is one I reach for anytime my skin is feeling dry or in need of a little extra love. It’s a rich cream, but somehow still feels light on the skin and leaves it looking soft, supple, and perfectly dewy. Also, the packaging is so thoughtful — the little magnetic spatula is such a small detail, but I love that it never gets lost.
For those moments when your skin needs a quick refresh, the Clarins Cry-Flash Cream Mask is such a fun one. It’s inspired by cryotherapy and gives your skin that instant, post-facial glow in just about ten minutes. I love using this before events or anytime I want my skin to look a little extra fresh and awake.
For lips, I’ve been loving the Lawless Forget the Filler Overnight Lip-Plumping Mask. It’s super hydrating and gives your lips that soft, plump look without any of the tingling or stinging. It’s one of those little nighttime steps that makes a big difference.
And one product I will never forget, especially after workouts, is the Tower 28 S.O.S. Daily Rescue Facial Spray. I keep this in my car and spray it after sweating — it’s been such a simple way to help prevent breakouts and keep my skin feeling fresh.
This Green Clean Cleansing Balm from Farmacy Beauty melts away makeup so gently and leaves my skin feeling clean but never stripped. It’s one of those products that makes your skincare routine feel like a little moment of self-care at the end of the day.
And of course, we have to talk about sunscreen. If there is one skincare step I always remind friends about, it’s SPF. Especially this time of year when we’re spending more time outside, protecting your skin before makeup is so important. Lately I’ve been loving the Neova sunscreen as my skin prep. It layers so beautifully under makeup and creates that smooth, protected base that everything else glides over.
Another sunscreen I really enjoy is the one from Omnilux. It feels lightweight and easy to incorporate into your morning routine, which makes it simple to stay consistent. If you’ve been curious about trying it, you can use my code TAYLORLOVE for savings.
A little friendly reminder from your skincare loving friend, don’t forget to extend your sunscreen down to your neck and chest too. It only takes a few extra seconds and makes such a difference over time.
Once my skin is prepped, I love adding a little color back into the face with blush. Spring makeup always calls for that fresh, healthy flush. Lately I’ve been loving a few favorites from DIBS Beauty. The Duet Baked Blush in Popstar has the prettiest soft pink tone that instantly brightens the face. It’s one of those shades that just makes you look a little more awake and fresh. I’ve also been reaching for the Desert Island Duo in shade 2.5, which adds warmth and glow in such an easy way. It’s one of my favorite products for giving the skin that effortless, sun-kissed look without feeling heavy.

For a little extra glow, I’ve been using the Ambient Lighting Palette from Hourglass. This palette gives the most beautiful soft highlight that makes the skin look naturally radiant instead of overly sparkly. Just a light sweep across the high points of the face brings everything together.
To keep everything looking fresh throughout the day, I finish with the DIBS Lovebeam Setting Powder in shade 222. It helps smooth everything out without taking away that glow.
Then I lock everything in with the On ’Til Dawn Setting Spray from ONE/SIZE. I’ve really been loving this one lately because it helps makeup last while still letting your skin look fresh and natural.
For lips, I’ve been keeping things simple with this lip liner in ‘Milk Chocolate’ paired with this maracuja plump gloss. It gives that soft, glossy shine that feels perfect for spring.
Spring makeup doesn’t need to be complicated to feel beautiful. Sometimes the best routine is simply focusing on healthy skin, a little glow, and products that make you feel like the best version of yourself. Think light layers, fresh skin, and makeup that feels as bright and happy as the season itself. Also consider this your little reminder to never skip sunscreen before makeup this time of year.
XO! Taylor Love
